Driving instructor course

General information:

The driving instructor course prepares you for the national driving instructor examination. The scope of the training includes both theoretical and practical classes. Participants acquire knowledge in road traffic regulations, teaching methodology, driver psychology and driving techniques.

Pre-course requirements:

• driving licence for at least two years - Cat A or B instructor course
• driving licence for at least 1 year and 3 years' experience as a CAT B instructor - Cat B+E, C1, C1+E, C, C+E, D1, D1+E, D, D+E instructor.
  You do not need to have experience as an instructor if you have five years' proven experience in international road haulage as a driver of a category C and C+E vehicle or in international passenger transport or public transport as a driver of a category D1 and D vehicle.
• medical and psychological certificate of no contraindication to work as a driving instructor.
• declaration of no criminal record.
  You must not have been convicted of: an offence committed for financial or personal gain, an offence against road safety, driving under the influence of alcohol or other psychoactive substances, an offence against the reliability of documents, an offence against sexual freedom and morality, an intentional offence against life and health.

Course programme:

theoretical classes - 130h (cat B or A).
practical classes - 55-85 clock hours (depending on the category).

• psychology - 10 hrs.
• teaching methodology - 50 hrs.
• Traffic law - 30 hrs.
• Steering and vehicle handling techniques - 18 hrs.
• road safety - 10 hrs.
• Rules for running a driver training centre - 6 hours.
• Driving technique and tactics - 2 hours + 5 hours (ODTJ)
• instructor practice - 4 hours + 50-85 hours.

After completing the course and obtaining the instructor's licence (extension of the licence) there is a possibility of employment in OSK SZAŁ
